Welcome to Mojave Mountain Pottery!

My clay studio is located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, home of the famous London Bridge. I consider myself a Lifelong Potter, and my love for this art form continues to motivate me to search for new ideas and other methods for working with clay. Inspired by a love for nature and the mythological symbology of animals, some of my more well known productions celebrate bears, buffalo, frogs, turtles, fish, giraffes and a host of other creatures.

I am comfortable using a variety of firing methods and most often
use the method to suit my current conceptual vision. Some items are Raku fired, while others Oxidation or Reduction fired. I also originate a variety of other pieces including, but not limited to, nativity figures, angels, and masks. I use the wheel for bowls and vases as well as a combination of wheel and hand-building. Other creations may be slab-built which is yet another hand-building method in which I express myself.  I enjoy learning new methods and expressing new ideas to share with treasured and new friends alike.

Thank you for visiting my site (enter below) and I invite you to stop by again soon. Special thanks to Kira Grischow for the cartoon likeness of me on this page.
